Went for an ac call today. Did a static pressure test it passed. Temperature split between supply and return duct passed. Blower motor amperage passed. Outdoor unit is very clean. Capacitor got replaced, due to the original one failing. Fan motor and compressor amperage passed. Refrigerant pressures met factory specifications. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
Replaced UV system. UV system works and furnace is up and heating. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
Completed furnace inspection for customer. All aspects of system tested within manufacturer specifications. No recommendations at this time. Customer stated that uv light wasn’t working properly, tested and it is malfunctioning. Upon arrival I began the furnace tune up. This is a Goodman systems that Ideal Temp installed back in March of 2022. I changed out the filter which is a 20x25x4 inch media filter. The old filter was extremely dirty. This is a reminder to change out your filter every 6 months with that type of filter. I also tried cleaning the return vent the best I could today. The blower wheel is very dirty and should be cleaned in the near future. The running amps on the inducer and blower motor were within manufacturer specifications. I took a temperature split on the system. It is rated for 15 to 45 degrees, 97 degrees(supply temp) - 67 degrees(return temp) = 30 degree temp rise is within specs. I did a test for any CO leaking from the heat exchanger but didn’t get any hits which is great! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call us! Your LBA Technician, Tyler Rickard P.S. No payment was due for todays visit, it was covered by your membership. I was to stress how important cha

Completed heating inspection for customer. Tested air handler and heat pump, heat pump functions normally and operates a 30-40 degree temp split, tested electric back up heat all coils energize and producing 50+degree air. All aspects test within manufacturer specs, no recommendations at this time.
Went in for a service call today. After hooking up the gauges I noticed that the suction side was low and that the discharge side was high. So I perceived that there was a restriction in the system. So I replaced the filter dryer inside the ac unit and cleaned the piston metering device. After refilling the system with refrigerant the system passed on superheat. The system was working properly when we finished. Thank you for choosing LBA Services!
Went for a service call today. Customer mentioned the house wasn’t cooling well. When checking pressures, I noticed the super heat was really high and the suction side was low. After doing a few tests, I figured out that the piston is clogged, going to replace filter dryer as well. Thank you for choosing LBA services!

Chuck’s main floor and upstairs unit both have much less airflow from the ductwork than is required for their cooling needs. Decreased the fan speeds in both units to temporarily relieve the excessive air pressure. Return visit scheduled for next Wednesday to review the findings and team up for solutions on the systems.
Completed AC inspection, all aspect of system test within manufacturer specifications. System operating normally upon departure.
Completed AC inspection for customer. Customer has two systems, one supplying air to the main floor and basement and one dedicated for the second floor. First floor system tested within manufacturer specifications. Second system is low on refrigerant but is R22, customer rarely uses system, no additional refrigerant added. Noted that inducer motor for second system was tight to the spin, advised customer to check prior to use to ensure its functioning properly.
